Time Trakkr sends reminders and notifications to help you keep your timesheet current, and it uses your timezone to send them at sensible local times. You control your own preferences and timezone; admins control the schedule the whole team is reminded on.
Open your own profile from Team (or the account menu) and select the Notifications tab. From there you can turn each notice on or off for yourself:
Change what you want and select Update notifications. These are your personal choices; the reminder rules below decide the schedule, but your preferences decide whether a given notice reaches you.
Lower down the same tab is a second group, covering the emails Time Trakkr sends about the product rather than about your work:
Two things about this group are different from the notices above.
They follow you, not a workspace. If you belong to more than one workspace you have one inbox and one set of these preferences, so turning one off turns it off everywhere.
Only you can change them. An administrator can set your operational notices — those are about running the workspace — but not these. They are yours.
Invoices, invitations, password resets and anything else you asked for are unaffected by these switches. The unsubscribe link at the foot of any of these emails also works, and brings you back here if you change your mind.
Owners and admins set the schedule the team is reminded on from the Settings page, under Preferences. Turn on Send my team timesheet reminders, then add one or more rules with + Add reminder. Each rule has a schedule and an audience.
The schedule (its cadence) can be:
The audience decides who a rule reaches:
You can also send overdue notices a set number of hours after the weekly deadline, and choose the delivery channels: Email, In-app notification, and Slack once it is connected under Integrations. Scheduled reminders land within the chosen hour in the organization's timezone.
Set your own timezone on the Basic tab of your profile in Team, in the Timezone field. Leave it on Organization timezone to follow the workspace default, or pick your own.
Your personal timezone shapes when time-of-day things happen for you:
Setting your timezone once keeps every reminder and draft aligned with your working day, wherever you are.
