Time Trakkr vs Harvest

Harvest is the long-standing default for agencies that bill hourly, and it is a good product. This page is about which of the two fits your situation, not about persuading you that the older one is bad.

Choose Harvest if

This is where Harvest is simply stronger. Invoicing and accounting. Harvest has been doing this for well over a decade, and its QuickBooks and Xero integrations, payment gateways and multi-currency handling are more complete than ours.
You want a vendor with a long track record. Harvest has been generally available for many years; we have only just opened to everyone.
You need exchange-rate conversion or a payment gateway attached to invoices. Time Trakkr invoices each client in its own currency, but never converts between them.

Choose Time Trakkr if

You want profitability and approvals without an enterprise tier. On Harvest, profitability and approvals both arrive on the $14/seat plan. Here profitability is free, and approvals are on the one paid plan at $10 per member per month.
You want the assistant to do the work rather than describe it. Logging and querying time in plain English, in the app, in Slack, or from an AI client over MCP.
