When you bill by the hour, the time you track is the invoice you send. Time Trakkr keeps the two in one place: log hours against a client, turn them into an invoice when the month ends, and see which clients are worth what they pay. Everything a freelancer’s billing needs is on the free plan.
Type what you did in plain English, such as “3h design for Acme yesterday, billable”, or run a timer. Each entry belongs to a client’s project and a task, and the task decides whether it is billable.
At the end of the month, choose the client and the date range, and the unbilled hours become a draft invoice. Group the lines by task, by person or one line per entry, add billable expenses from the same period, and tax and discount fill in from the client’s defaults. Invoiced hours are locked so they cannot be billed twice.
Email the invoice from Time Trakkr, or copy a private link your client opens without an account. Record payments as they arrive, and the invoice marks itself partly paid or paid.
Send an estimate your client can accept or decline from its link, and you are told which. Retainers and recurring invoices cover fixed monthly fees. A recurring invoice makes a draft each cycle for you to send; it never sends itself.
Give your time a cost rate and every client and project shows its margin: revenue from your billable hours, cost from all of them. Profitability is on the free plan, not a premium tier.
Your logo and brand color go on your invoices, and your workspace runs at a you.timetrakkr.com address or on a domain of your own. Both are free. Sending client email from your own domain is on the paid plan.
Free for one person, and still free if you later work with others: the free plan covers unlimited people. The one paid plan, $10 per member per month, adds HR, scheduling, timesheet approvals, scheduled backups, email from your own domain and scheduled reports. Most of that is for teams.
Coming from another tool? Time Trakkr imports from Harvest, Toggl Track, Clockify and CSV.
Agent time records how long a coding agent works in a client’s repository, as time for you, billed at an agent rate you set and on invoice lines of its own, apart from your hours. Sessions from a repository you mapped are accepted automatically once the day ends, unless you turn that off.
