How to set it up

Copy the server URL, https://timetrakkr.com/api/mcp, from the Connect your AI (MCP) card on the Integrations page.
In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http timetrakkr https://timetrakkr.com/api/mcp, then /mcp to authenticate.
In Cursor, add the same URL as a custom MCP server in Cursor's settings and authenticate when prompted.
Choose read-only or read/write access on the consent screen.

What it won’t do

Change anything over an API key or a personal access token. Over MCP both are read-only; only an OAuth connection can write.
Send an invoice. Drafts only.
Widen access. Every call follows the same permissions as the app, so members never see rates.

Which MCP clients does Time Trakkr work with?

The help article covers Claude, Claude Code and Cursor. Each needs the server URL and a sign-in.

Can a machine read data without acting as a person?

Yes. An organization API key works over MCP as a Bearer header. It is read-only and belongs to the organization rather than to anyone in it.

How do I take access back?

Disconnect the OAuth connection, or delete the API key. Access is revocable at any time.
