What it does

Your setup firstClients, projects, tasks and people arrive in step one, matched to anyone already in your workspace by email.
Then every hour ever loggedStep two backfills time entries in the background, with an only-before date so nothing double-counts.
Safe to run againRecords are matched and updated in place, and entries that already exist are skipped.
Your edits winA field you changed here is never overwritten. Disagreements are listed under Kept your version.

How to set it up

  1. An owner or admin opens Integrations and finds Migrate from Harvest.
  2. Enter your Harvest Account ID and a Harvest personal access token, then select Connect.
  3. Select 1 · Import clients, projects, tasks & people.
  4. Select 2 · Backfill time entries. It runs in the background; clear the only-before date to import everything.
  5. Invite the people who should sign in from Team when you are ready.

What it won’t do

  • Let imported people sign in on their own. Active Harvest people arrive as invited members; archived ones arrive disabled, with their history attached.
  • Overwrite a change you made in Time Trakkr, or duplicate anything on a re-run.
  • Import task budgets. Time Trakkr has no per-task budget yet, and the summary says how many projects had one.
  • Replace a budget you already have here.

Questions about Harvest

Do billing types and budgets come across?

Yes. Fixed fee, hourly by project, task or person, and non-billable map to their Time Trakkr equivalents. Project hours, total fees and per-person hours budgets come across; per-task budgets do not.

Are already-invoiced hours marked?

Yes. Already-invoiced hours arrive marked as billed.

What do re-imports keep in sync?

Roles are raised to the Harvest access level but never lowered, contractor status follows Harvest, and project auto-assign is synced. Reporting lines and work roles you filled in are left alone.
