Time Trakkr for GitHub

Time Trakkr connects to GitHub through the Time Trakkr GitHub App, so an admin can map repositories to projects for agent time without typing remotes.

What it does

One list of repositoriesYour own account and every organization the App is installed on, searchable, or paste a repository URL.
Map in a clickPress Add beside a repository and pick its project and task. Mapped ones show where they go.
Rules outlive the connectionIf your connection lapses, each rule keeps working from the repository’s address, and the page says so.

How to set it up

  1. An admin opens Settings → Agent time → Repositories and presses Connect your GitHub account.
  2. Approve it on GitHub.
  3. Search the list or paste a URL, press Add, and pick the project and task.
  4. To see more repositories, use Configure GitHub App, then Refresh list.

What it won’t do

  • Read your code. Connecting only reads which repositories you can reach.
  • Share one admin’s list with another. Each admin connects their own GitHub account.
  • Cover GitLab or Bitbucket. Type those remotes in by address instead.

Questions about GitHub

Do I need GitHub for agent time?

No. Any remote can be typed in by address, in any form, and a rule can be limited to branches.

Why does another admin see a different list?

The list is what your own GitHub account can reach, so it differs from person to person.
